Commander Shepard is coming to Bombad Radio
Back in March 2012 a guest appeared on the Bombad Radio that made our listeners squeel for joy (literally) and has since been one of our top 5 episodes of all time. That guest was Jennifer Hale, our 5th celebrity guest on the show and literally one of the biggest voice actresses of all time with roles that include Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Knights of the Old Republic, Phineas and Ferb, Green Lantern, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and of course Mass Effect where she played Femshep aka the female version of Commander Shepard.
That episode is still one I am very proud of and was the first time I did a big interview solo and did not get too nervous over it. Jennifer Hale discussed much about Mass Effect, her pride in the series, working with Lucasfilm for Clone Wars (she is Senator Chuchi and Aayla Secura), Disney and more.
Now we get a chance to complete the set. In the extremely popular Mass Effect series, all guests of which have been big guests on Bombad Radio (Sam Hulick - Composer, Courtenay Taylor - Jack, Drew Karpyshyn - Head Writer, Jennifer Hale - Shepard), you can be male or female Shepard and now I am pleased to announce that this summer, MALE Shepard, Mark Meer will be joining us on Bombad Radio.
Mark Meer is a Canadian actor who does both voice and in front of the camera work (and writing). His roles include TV series such as Tiny Plastic Men, Verses Valerie, and Caution: May Contain Nuts. In the video game world he has been major roles in Dragon Age: Origins, Jade Empire, Dragon Age II, Baldurs Gate, Baldurs Gate 2 (and Throne of Bhaal), Neverwinter Knights, and of course Mass Effect 1-3. In addition to acting Mark does improv as well and is the founder of a sketch comedy/improv troupe called Gordon's Big Bald Head and ironically enough his wife is also a voice from the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series.
Mark Meer will be featured on Bombad Radio, summer 2014, get your questions ready now!
