Citadel Customs
The Citadel, Serpent Nebula
Agatha loved visiting the Citadel. It was the first place she'd ever gone when she left Earth, and there was nothing about the place that didn't satiate every inch of her wanderlust. Humans and aliens alike walked the place freely. There was always someone to engage in deeply thought politics or philosophy. There were ample bars to drink and perform in, beautiful sights to see, hundreds of different cultural foods that she'd never get back home. The Citadel was the perfect place to be an anthropologist, even if she was only one as a hobby rather than professionally. She'd met a lot of interesting people across all spectrums of background, from businessmen and politicians, to thieves and prostitutes, and she absolutely adored it. Plus, she brought in a pretty decent sum of money every time she booked a performance at one of the bars or music halls.
She was currently dressed casually, in a style that was a bit on the grunge side, though fashionably so. A pair of khaki colored cargo pants hung low around her hips, ending at the strappy sandals on her feet. She wore a dark green sport bra that was visible through the sides of her shirt: A black garment that had once been a plain tee shirt but the sleeves had been ripped off all the way down, leaving her sides fully exposed. Through the rips, one could clearly see a pierced belly button, as well as two tattoos. One on her left shoulder depicted an ornate looking skull that sat atop a bed of beautiful red roses. The other ran up the right side of her stomach and disappeared into the hem of her pants and into the sport bra, indicating that the art was larger than what was currently visible. It was designed in such a way as to give the illusion that her flesh had been carved like wood into a lattice that had green vines and small yellow flowers weaving through it. She had a couple tasteful piercings on her ears, and a tiny stud in one nostril, as well as a small almost vintage diamond ring on her left ring finger.
Brushing a few locks of her red hair out of her face, Agatha curiously surveyed the people moving through the customs area. She always liked to try to guess where people came from, and what they were visiting the Citadel for. It wasn't out of any sense of derogatory presumptions, of course; she was just vastly interested in people as a whole. She liked to hear their stories and share their time, when they were willing. Most people usually were quite social with her, especially while they were all waiting in line with nothing better to do anyway. The gypsy made polite small talk with some of the people around her until it was her turn to be screened. She stepped forward and set her backpack on the table for the human C-Sec officer to go through. As he pulled out a few things so he could check the bag's contents -- which included a drink and some snack, a bag of dice, a set of playing cards and a set of tarot cards, some spare clothing, and a few other knick knacks -- she also carefully removed and set out her weapons for proper inspection. Though the pistols had been rather obvious to spot, there had been two daggers and six smaller knives hidden rather expertly on her person.
The officer raised his brow a bit curiously, surprised to see such a small and unassuming looking woman carrying so many weapons. She blushed and shrugged a little, smirking. "Can never be too prepared to protect myself."
He shook his head a little, but smirked along with her. "You're not wrong. Everything you have is legal, anyway. Just don't get into any trouble and you should be fine, Miss Fairbairn," he told her as he began to put things back in her bag, nodding that she could put her weapons one once more. She thanked him kindly for his assistance with a bright smile, allowing him to move on to the next person in line while she gathered her things.
