Drinks. That was the name of the game. After having a fun few run-ins recently with jobs that ended up going nowhere or Cerberus ambushing small settlements, Noxu couldn't seem to get enough of drinking. It was a favorite pastime of his. There was always time for shore leave or vacations when one was a part of Noxu's crew. Though, as much as he hated visiting the Citadel, he'd heard that Ryori's ship -- The SSV Ravenwing -- was docked at the hangar. While the events of the Flux bar happened not too terribly long ago, there was always a need for new scenery.
His original intention of going to Purgatory was to meet up with Ryori, but even a woman like her would get held up with work elsewhere and not have too much time. And so, the drinks were there for him and so was the social aspect of attempting to find new business partners.
Noxu's usual intention would be to head over toward the bar and get a drink. This time, however, he had a different plan: He was going to get a drink and ... mingle. Mingle? Yes, mingle. He didn't want to get too drunk before he could strike a deal with some unsuspecting sucker business partner.
As he wandered up to the bar, he nodded to the bartender. "Just give me a nice bottle of rum. Nothin' too fancy, though." Placing his left hip up against the side of the bar, he scoped out his surroundings in any attempt to find someone at least remotely possible for a business opportunity. Though, in a place like Purgatory, the chances of that weren't too terribly high.
As the SSV Ravenwing was docked at the Citadel, Leto had taken a small bit of shore leave in order to cool off a bit. It would only be a short trip to the Purgatory, and he certainly wouldn't stay long as he didn't really drink very much. But he did like to dance, a little, and dance he would, if he found someone to dance with. But first a drink to loosen up. Walking up to the bar, the engineer ordered a drink of cherry and vodka, a small shot of it, in order to get himself unwound a bit from the accident that had happened a few days prior. Reaching up as he put the drink to his lips, he sipped it up, before a second hand reached up and touched his bandaged eye. He wasn't ashamed of what had happened, and that was the only reason that he was going out still bandaged up.
He wondered what Lieutenant Harris was doing right now, probably taking some shore leave himself. Turning towards the man leaning next to him at the bar, he gave him a slight grin before his eyes trailed back towards the bartender. Patiently waiting to see if anything interesting happened, he gave another sidelong glance towards the man leaning on the bar next to where Leto had stood at. A smile appeared on his face before he finally turned around to strike up a conversation. "Well hello there," he stated, turning towards the man, and then waiting to see if he'd be blown off or respond to Leto's greeting...

He really needed the drinks. It wasn't just a matter of want, it was a matter of need. Between Geth, smuggling operations gone wrong, and Collectors, all he needed was a strong -- STRONG drink. He had a feeling that the day was going to be a great day and nothing would compare to it. Still, he leaned against the bar and looked about the club. Once the man walked up to the bar and ordered a cherry vodka drink, Nox just smirked slightly. Seems like someone else needs a strong ass drink, too. The smirk didn't put him off and neither did the smile later.
"Well hello there,"
What did surprise him, however, was the eye. It was bandaged up, which made Nox begin to wonder just what was wrong with it. Maybe he lost his eye? Perhaps he had pink-eye? Maybe he just got corrective-eye surgery? The multitude of ideas that crossed through his head about that one eye made him chuckle in his head. Turning his attention to the man at his side he spoke bluntly: "What the hell happened to your eye?" Curiosity got the best of him and he really wanted to know what was going on with it. "You lose it in a fight or somethin'? Maybe a bet?" he asked, obviously his thoughts coming to the forefront of his tongue as he spoke.
Picking up his bottle of rum, he slipped a few credits over toward the bartender and took a long swig of the drink which immediately made him recoil from the taste. "Oh, shit. That's nasty. I forgot how good this is," he said, completely contradicting himself. "What brings you here, eh?" Manner certainly weren't part of his M.O. if it wasn't already blatantly obvious. He had a drink now and he had company to chat with. For the time being, life was pretty damned good.

Leto was a bit taken aback by the man's suddenly blunt question. It even made him reach up to touch his eye where the large cut happened to be stitched up underneath of the bandaging. Letting the smile slowly return to his face at the thought of the man before him actually speaking to the young shy engineer, he then said, "No, didn't get it taken out or lose it in a fight. Just a nasty shrapnel gash underneath of it. Accelerator Core of a Drive Core blew up in my face basically. Luckily nobody was injured during the blast, or subsequent radiation leak." As for what brought Leto here, it happened to be something as simple as what had brought the man before him here. "Just mingling with the crowd, and taking a drink," he said grinning. "Maybe dancing a bit if I get into the mood," he said.
"The name is Leto, Leto Karme, drive core engineer of the SSV Ravenwing," he stated then, looking towards the man. Since they had gotten the drive core up and running again, and they had business at the Citadel, Leto had decided to take some shore leave for a few hours of the evening in order to get some adequate relaxation time after the incident that had happened. "And you are?" he asked the man then, wondering whom exactly he happened to be speaking to...
