She listened to the report, as much as she could gather. It was enough to gather that the ship had crashed on Canalus, and that there was an impending Geth threat. Once she verified that Edgar had gotten the latitude and longitude of the signal, she responded.
"ETA is roughly ten hours. Again, that's ten hours. Hold out as long as you can. We will be monitoring this frequency for updates. Stay safe."
Ending the call, she took a moment to reach out to command to update them on the situation and to request any available nearby reinforcements. Once that was done, she stood up and walked over to Nox and slipped her arms around him. "Why can't our life ever be simple?" she mused. "Just once, I'd like to be able to have my time with you not be interrupted with the world ending."
Ominous foreshadowing!
Kissing his chest lightly, she said, "Maybe it's time I had a vacation." Ryori meant it, too. Time for just the two of them. She smirked. "I'll leave the ship in Castien's capable hands. What could possibly go wrong?" Shortly after this, she made sure to work him back over toward the bed. There was no way she was leaving him high and dry, not today. Stupid Geth.
9 hours later
The shuttles were prepped, the men were on standby. Everyone who planned on going to the surface was gathered in an empty part of the shuttle bay where Ryori held her mass briefings. She had ten squads of twenty men ready to depart, and since Noxu planned on going planetside for one reason or another she'd invited them in on the briefing, at the very least so they could be aware of what the current dangers were on the planet.
She was dressed in full armor, the black raven emblem defiant against the dark blue of the armor, her N7 colors proudly displayed down her right arm. For now, her helmet was off and her black curls were tied back at the base of her skull. "Roughly nine hours ago, we intercepted a distress signal from SSV Dunkirk. They have crash landed on Canalus, and we traced their frequency to these coordinates." On a large wall behind her, an image of the planet displayed, zooming into the planet's surface until it showed the spot where the Dunkirk had landed.
"They were brought down by active and hostile Geth forces. Their reports say the Geth have full anti-air support. I am uncertain what the current status is of our comrades. We have been unable to establish contact again for several hours. Our primary objective is survivors. The surface is fucking hot. Right now our meters estimate it's averaging 90 degrees Celcius. Make sure you have plenty of hydration. If you fall from something non Geth related, don't let me hear about it." Or else.
"You each have your assignments. When we get to the crash zone, three squads are going to spread out and scout the area. Everyone else is going to stay to assess the damage at hand. Depending on what we find when we get there, we will move out from there. Be sure you have your emergency flare guns." Once she was certain no one had any questions, she nodded. "Load the Kodiaks."
While the men rushed off, Ryori approached Nox. "If your shuttle is out of commission, you can use one of mine. Just... take an unmarked one, if you're going to do any business." She gave him a wry smirk. She'd already told him he was of course more than welcome to join them in the search and rescue, but since his crew was not under her orders she'd certainly not demanded it.
Hopping on the next available shuttle, Ryori slipped on her helmet and gave the order to fall out. The shuttles were going ahead of the Ravenwing, to scout and test the area. They were faster and more agile on the surface. However, the cruiser was under orders to break atmosphere and follow them at a reasonable distance, in case they needed the assistance of the larger ship's guns. Once the shuttles departed, it would take them about an hour to get to the surface and, God willing, locate the wreckage and with it the survivors.

Leaning over, she whispered in his year, "When we get back, I'm going to owe you a lot more than repairs to your ship... And believe me, I'm going to deliver." Her low, somewhat husky tone would let him know exactly the kind of payment she intended on giving him. With her lips so close to his ear, she gave it a light nibble and tug. The excitement was making her frisky again. Winking at him, she backed away.
